Nick Cooper
Music Victoria
Nick has been an active and passionate member of Music Victoria almost since its inception. A dedicated musician from age 6, he has been heavily involved in the Melbourne, Victorian and Australian music scenes for many years. Nick has managed bands and tours, played locally and internationally as a live and recording musician, and worked at some of Victoria’s iconic music festivals. After a brief career as a pilot in the Australian Regular Army, and as a commercial lawyer for over 5 years, Nick is now part of the furniture at Music Victoria. With a particular interest in the live and regional music sectors, Nick's mission is to advocate for artists, industry professionals and punters alike, and keep Victorian contemporary music on the world map.
